Responsibilities
This newly designed and highly accountable role will develop and lead the digital strategy to elevate MSFA’s online presence, increase engagement and drive impactful campaigns.
As the champion for digital, you will foster our culture of digital first thinking embedding innovation and maximising the value of digital initiatives across all departments. You will oversee all digital channels, platforms and tools to ensure they are optimised to meet fundraising, awareness raising and recruitment goals for our fully inhouse function.
Reporting to the Director of Engagement this influential leadership position manages a large team of high performing Digital experts and will continue to reinforce MSFA as a leader in the sector driving engagement and outcomes that power our mission and deepen relationships with our supporters.
Responsibilities include the design and implementation of digital strategies; lead the organisations SX project; collaborate with the CRM Manager and Data team to ensure accurate reporting, data driven decision making, continuous improvement of tools, compliance and leveraging insights; website and content management; oversee social media and community engagement; guide the planning and management of digital advertising; mentor and grow the capability of the team; budget management of targets and expenditure; and embed digital innovation across the organisation.
Ultimately, your work will result in more funding to support MSF projects, a superior experience for our donors and awareness of the work MSF does and the context in which we deliver that care.
Requirements
To be successful in this critical position, you will be known for your creative thinking, positive management style, and proven ability to deliver projects. Ideally you can demonstrate the following:
- Proven experience in a senior digital role preferably within a nonprofit or humanitarian sector.
- Strong people management skills, with a record of inspiring previous digital marketing teams
- Expertise in digital marketing, fundraising strategies and content management systems
- Knowledge of analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Hotjar) and advertising tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager)
- Experience in Growth hacking and delivering measurable results
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise and thrive under tight deadlines
- Experience in a Salesforce CRM environment
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to cultivate relationships with stakeholders.
