Responsibilities of your role
Reporting to the Head of International HR, this new role will design, implement and evaluate training and development programs for Australian and New Zealand Internationally Mobile Staff (IMS) and will build tailored learning solutions that cover the complex operational and developmental needs of MSF.
Your expertise in workforce development will enhance the capacity of our IMS to operate in various global projects, foster motivation, promote professional autonomy and create mobility opportunities. Accountabilities will include strategy, annual planning and budget management; Learning plan development and delivery; people development through career path and mobility; and engagement across the MSF movement.
As a champion for L&D, this management position will work closely with internal IHR team members and liaise with L&D focal points across APAC and MSF Operating Centres globally to integrate best practice and share resources.
What you will bring
To be successful in this collaborative role, you’ll enjoy innovating with training delivery methods and prioritising learning needs in a low resource environment. You will thrive in the humanitarian aid sector and ideally can demonstrate:
- Qualifications in HR, Education or Business Administration
- Experience in L&D strategy and expertise with both L&D design and implementation preferably in a not-for-profit or NGO.
- Knowledge of training delivery methods and adult learning principles.
- Proficient understanding of the needs of IMS, and MSF experience will be highly regarded.
- Proven ability to build relationships and manage expectations and navigate the challenges of a cross-cultural, multilingual environment.
- High level of organisation and competency managing projects, priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal communications and presentation skills.
