Responsibilities of your role

Reporting to the Single Giving Manager this team-based role is accountable for the execution of the robust and ambitious Single Giving Program and Direct Mail activity for MSF Australia and MSF New Zealand.  

You will project manage a diverse portfolio of direct marketing campaigns, including appeals, newsletters, emergency mailings, and donor communications, with a focus on acquisition and retention. As a key member of the Single Giving team, you will ensure compliance, uphold editorial standards, provide campaign reporting and insights, and contribute to strategy development, annual planning, and budgeting. You will also drive continuous improvement, champion best-practice processes, and identify opportunities to enhance performance and supporter engagement.

You will also represent MSFA through the management of external stakeholders – creative agencies and contractors, mail houses, list suppliers and data specialists to optimise relationships and ensure supplier agreements are met.  Internal collaboration will include liaison with international counterparts and domestically working with the Data, Supporter Relations, Digital, and Communications teams.

 

What you will bring

To be successful in this collaborative role, you will bring a solid understanding of fundraising principles and a strong drive to achieve ambitious targets so MSF can continue to provide lifesaving care. You’ll be motivated by developing your career in fundraising and contributing to the impact of a global humanitarian organisation.  Ideally you can demonstrate: 

  • Excellent understanding of direct mail fundraising or similar programs.
  • Proven project management and account management experience.
  • Experience using data to support decision making and strategy development.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Outstanding organisation and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
